Bhogapuram airport: government promises to settle farmers’ compensation through court
The government has assured farmers that compensation for land acquired for Bhogapuram airport's approach road will be settled through the Visakhapatnam tribunal. Farmers demanded up to ₹1 crore per acre, significantly higher than the ₹48 lakh offered by the government.
