Assam flood situation improves as water levels recede, 6.5 lakh still affected
The Assam flood situation has improved with receding water levels, but 6.5 lakh people remain affected. Sivasagar is the worst-hit district with nearly 2.9 lakh people impacted, followed by Charaideo with 1.9 lakh and Jorhat with over 1.3 lakh.
