Haryana completes SIR phase-I; over 33 lakh names left out due to relocation, death, duplication
Haryana has completed the first phase of its Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SIR) with over 33 lakh names excluded due to relocation, death, or duplication. CEO Sreenivas reported that 20,629 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) distributed enumeration forms to more than 2 crore electors, with over 1 crore forms digitised.
