A father was scammed after a fraudster posed as Xfinity, using accurate account details to convince him to return a newly purchased phone and tablet. The scammer provided precise information about the devices and delivery address, leading to the items being stolen. Xfinity confirmed the scam, but the victim must still pay over $1,000 for the phone and faces limited recourse.
