Ask the MTA | Interborough Express updates and subway colors

The MTA is actively developing the Interborough Express (IBX) and seeking public feedback through pop-up workshops until September. Additionally, the subway line color system was designed in the 1960s by Unimark International and simplified in 1979 to the current palette of eight colors and two shades of gray.
