US sanctions more than 50 Jalisco cartel-linked individuals and businesses
The U.S. Treasury sanctioned 39 individuals and 16 companies linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), targeting its leadership and financial networks. Mexico’s Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) blocked accounts of the same 55 individuals and companies, citing illicit financial activities.
