Golf course turns ATV damage into lesson for Pageland juveniles

Two juveniles damaged parts of White Plains Golf Club in Pageland, S.C., during an ATV joyride, but the club owner, Andrew Currie, chose not to press criminal charges. Instead, the juveniles will work on repairing the course to learn about the consequences of their actions. The club’s grounds crew repaired the damage within a day, and the sheriff’s office praised the resolution.
