Man sentenced to death in 2005 murder of ‘La Carreta’ waitress

Rafael Andres was sentenced to death for the 2005 murder of waitress Yvette Farinas at La Carreta in Miami-Dade. This is his second death sentence after the first was overturned by the Florida Supreme Court. Andres had previously served 18 months for a 1987 stabbing conviction.
