Why Would Meta Download So Much Porn?
Meta is accused of downloading thousands of copyrighted adult videos and illicit content, including nonconsensual celebrity nudes and deepfake porn, as part of its AI training data collection. Strike 3, a parent company of an adult film producer, claims Meta accessed 2,973 of its videos and other materials over two years. Meta denies the allegations, asserting the downloads were for personal use, not company projects.
