Hold Off on JAK Inhibitors in Rheumatoid Arthritis Until After Shingles Vax?

Patients with rheumatoid arthritis who began JAK inhibitors after receiving one dose of a two-dose shingles vaccine had similar varicella zoster virus antibody levels at 12 weeks compared to those who delayed JAK inhibitors. The study suggests starting JAK inhibitors after the first shingles vaccine dose does not compromise antibody response.
