Gov. Bill Lee signs Trump’s Ratepayer Protection Pledge

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed a voluntary pledge backed by Pres. Donald Trump to prevent data center growth from increasing consumer electricity bills. The pledge, non-binding and aimed at ensuring private companies do not burden ratepayers, has been endorsed by 23 Republican governors and about 200 stakeholders.
