PM Modi wants fast-track courts for paper leak cases, but backlogs are mounting
PM Modi has called for fast-track courts to handle paper leak cases, but the number of pending cases increased from 2,04,122 at the end of 2024 to 2,45,579 by 2025-end. In 2025, Fast Track Special Courts registered 1,43,936 new cases but disposed of only 66,500.
