EU accuses TikTok of exposing children to risks online

The EU accused TikTok of failing to protect children by allowing their accounts to be publicly visible, exposing them to risks like cyberbullying and predatory behavior. TikTok claimed its teen accounts have over 50 privacy features, but the EU warned it could face fines up to 6% of its annual turnover for non-compliance with the Digital Services Act.
