The Gordie Howe International Bridge will open to traffic on July 27, 2025, with a toll-free multi-use path for walkers and cyclists opening on August 5. Jointly owned by Michigan and Canada, the bridge was funded almost entirely by Canada and features six bridge lanes, 16 toll lanes, and 60 inspection lanes.
