Footpath driving cases soar across Bengaluru; footpath parking cases double
Bengaluru saw a sharp rise in driving on footpaths, with 12,032 cases booked in the first five months of 2026, exceeding the annual average of 14,827 cases over the past six years. Footpath parking violations also doubled during the same period.
