Palani Math land row: Municipality chairperson moves Madras High Court seeking CBI probe into fraudulent registration

The municipality chairperson in the Palani Math land dispute has approached the Madras High Court to request a CBI investigation into fraudulent registration. The chairperson claims that while some Registration Department officials faced departmental action, the roles of supervisory officers and other public servants in processing the document were not adequately examined.
