Former Supreme Court Chief’s Plea Deal Could Set Precedent in Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Cases

Former Chief Justice of Ukraine’s Supreme Court Vsevolod Kniaziev entered a plea agreement in a corruption case involving a $2.7 million bribe. He will serve five years in prison, return the bribe, and donate $1 million to Ukraine’s Armed Forces. The case may set a precedent for future high-level corruption investigations by NABU.
