Charlotte doctor launches summer camp to build pipeline of Black physicians

A Charlotte doctor launched Kid Doc Summer Camp to introduce African American children to medicine and address the underrepresentation of Black physicians, with the camp expanding to Columbia, South Carolina. The program, now in its third year, has graduated over 300 students and aims to inspire future medical careers through hands-on training and mentorship.
