Man accused of hitting woman in face with metal tool over dog in store, police say

A man struck a woman in the face with a metal tool at a Louisiana store after a dispute involving her dog, according to police. The woman sustained serious facial injuries and was hospitalized. Dwayne Pitre, 39, of Lake Charles, was arrested and charged with aggravated second-degree battery.
