Activist on hunger strike over Ken-Betwa river link project ends fast after 18 days
Mr. Bhatnagar of Jai Kisan Sangathan ended an 18-day hunger strike protesting the Union Government's ₹44,000-crore Ken-Betwa river link project. Demonstrators from Chhatarpur and Panna districts had staged symbolic protests since July 4, including lying on pyres in the river with nooses around their necks.
