Family pleads for tips just days before sentencing in Macomb County mother’s death

The family of Michelle Campoy, a Macomb County woman found injured in a hit-and-run incident in December 2025, is urging witnesses to come forward ahead of the sentencing of Roger Criss, who pleaded no contest to failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in death. Criss is scheduled to be sentenced on July 28, 2026, and the family seeks additional evidence to pursue a more severe charge.
