CMS school board says investigation into superintendent needs more time

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board said it needs more time to investigate Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill, who has been on paid administrative leave for over a month. The investigation, costing the district $275 per hour plus PR counsel fees, remains ongoing. Deputy Superintendent Dr. Melissa Balknight is leading school year preparations while the investigation continues.
