Southern California suburb alarmed as ‘exceptionally rare’ cancer sickens multiple children

Residents in Ladera Ranch, Orange County, are concerned after six children were diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, an exceptionally rare cancer. The community has approximately 26,000 residents, and Katrina Foley, vice-chair of the county board of supervisors, acknowledged the issue in a statement.
