Man charged in fatal shooting of 22-year-old reported missing by family

Detroit police arrested Sheldon Golden, a 22-year-old suspect charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm in the fatal shooting of Marvin Jordan III, a 22-year-old reported missing by his family on March 8, 2026. Jordan's body was found on May 5 in a field on Detroit's west side after he had not been seen since January 12.
