The driver of a Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control vehicle was cited for careless driving after crashing into a white Toyota RAV4 on Highway 50. The DFPC driver, Curtis O'Leary, an arson investigator, was not responding to a work-related incident and had no emergency lights or sirens activated. Both vehicles' occupants were hospitalized, and Highway 50 was closed for approximately two hours.
