Seniors to play outsized role in tight Georgia races, new poll finds
A new AARP-commissioned poll in Georgia shows Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff leading Republican Rep. Mike Collins by nine points in the Senate race, while gubernatorial candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms holds a narrow two-point lead over Rick Jackson. Voters over 50 are projected to make up 57% of the electorate, with 88% rating high motivation compared to 62% of younger voters.
