Warren woman pleads no contest to animal abuse after 24 animals seized from ‘deplorable conditions’
Michelle Reyntiens, a 57-year-old Warren woman, pleaded no contest to animal abuse after 24 animals, including Pomeranian/Shih Tzus and turtles, were found in unsanitary conditions. Authorities also discovered crack cocaine in her home, and the animals were surrendered to Macomb County Animal Control. She is scheduled for sentencing on Sept. 14.
