China’s Geely partners with Ford to revive Spain plant and deepen European EV drive
Geely Auto, China’s second-largest carmaker, has partnered with Ford Motor to use a redundant factory in Spain to build electric vehicles, with deliveries expected in 2028. The joint venture will assemble multi-energy cars at an idle plant in Almussafes, with Geely holding a 34% stake.
