Report: Black Students’ Exclusion From High-Quality Math Has Dire Consequences

Black students are disproportionately excluded from high-quality math education, leading to lower AP math enrollment and underrepresentation in the STEM workforce. Barriers include limited access to Algebra I in middle school and Algebra II in high school, particularly in schools serving Black and Hispanic communities.
