Philippines storm may intensify into typhoon, approach Hong Kong this weekend
A tropical depression near the Philippines may intensify into a typhoon and approach Hong Kong this weekend, with a possible landfall less than 400km east of the city. The Hong Kong Observatory reported the system is moving west-northwest at 25 km/h from waters east of the Philippines.
