Retired Philadelphia teacher, 73, crushed to death by rotting pole on high school field, lawsuit claims
Paula Budin, a retired teacher, was killed when a decaying 45-foot wooden utility pole fell on her at Roxborough High School's athletic complex on Dec. 5, 2024. The pole had been rotting for over 10 years, according to court documents.
