ICE urges North Carolina to keep illegal immigrant charged in triple-fatal hit-and-run behind bars
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is requesting North Carolina authorities to detain Javiel Pena Sola, an illegal immigrant charged with three counts of hit-and-run resulting in death after a July 18 crash in Salisbury. Sola, who fled the scene and was later found with a police K-9, has prior criminal convictions and was previously arrested in 2016 but released by the Obama administration.
