Heavy rain cause flooding in Madison, trap people inside restaurant and cause a sinkhole

Heavy rain caused flooding in Madison, trapping people inside El Cubilete Spanish Restaurant on Gallatin Pike and creating a sinkhole on Pierce Road that trapped a vehicle. NDOT closed parts of Pierce Road for repairs, with residents describing this as the worst flooding they have seen.
