A bald eagle believed to be Jackie from the Big Bear Valley nest is in critical condition at the Ojai Raptor Center due to severe anemia and kidney issues. Friends of Big Bear Valley, which manages the nest livestream, is awaiting test results to determine if lead, zinc, or rodenticide is involved in the eagle's illness.
