Cooler than average temperatures Today then heat is back on over the Weekend.
The Twin Cities experienced cooler-than-average temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 70s and partly cloudy skies. Temperatures are expected to rise into the 80s by Thursday and Friday, followed by a hot and humid weekend with highs in the mid 90s and heat index values around 100. Thunderstorms are possible during the late evening and early morning hours over the weekend.
