Manitoba partially repays retiree for out-of-country surgery after twice refusing to pick up the tab

Tom Molinski, 69, received a $24,000 cheque from Manitoba Health for an out-of-country spine surgery after the province initially refused reimbursement twice. The payment followed a period of nearly two years since the surgery.
