Nauru, a Pacific island nation with 12,000 inhabitants, will open an embassy in Jerusalem, becoming the tenth country to do so. The nation recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital in 2019 and is pro-Israel, with its foreign minister meeting Nauru's counterpart in Fiji last June.
