América Móvil Profit Climbs 9.2% as Mobile Users Grow
América Móvil reported a 9.2% year-on-year increase in net profit to MXN 24,332 million ($1.39 billion) and a 3.1% revenue rise to MXN 241,000 million ($13.77 billion). The company added 3.5 million new postpaid mobile subscribers and 531,000 new broadband accesses, with revenue growth of 5.4% in Brazil and 5.8% in Colombia.
