A Chinese bank processed over $1.7 billion in cross-border transactions via mBridge, a multilateral CBDC platform, highlighting its capability for high-value settlements and advancing Beijing's yuan globalization goals. The transactions were conducted by the Bank of China's Shenzhen and Fujian branches in June and July.
