Fugitive rape suspect hid in plain sight for 20 years as a yacht-owning L.A. biotech pharma exec

Ronald L. Fischer fled during a rape trial in May 2005 and used various aliases to avoid capture for more than 20 years, according to U.S. Marshals Service. He evaded law enforcement while living as a yacht-owning biotech pharmaceutical executive in Los Angeles.
