House adopts Biggs’ amendment to slightly cut defense budget if Pentagon fails audit
The House of Representatives adopted an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would reduce the defense budget by 0.5 percent if any component of the Pentagon fails an audit. The amendment passed via voice vote and is now part of the annual defense policy bill.
