The House rejected an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would codify President Trump’s executive order preventing transgender individuals from serving in the military. The amendment, sponsored by Rep. Lauren Boebert, failed with a vote of 212-217, with four Republicans joining Democrats to oppose it.
