Miami-Dade School Board names 2 finalists for district’s next superintendent

The Miami-Dade School Board has selected two finalists for the district’s next superintendent. The finalists are Ernie Lozano, human resource chief at Broward Schools, and Rafael Villalobos, Miami-Dade south region superintendent. A decision is expected by month’s end to replace Jose Dotres, whose contract expires in February.
