Family claims child was sexually abused at Pawleys Island school in 2022, says leaders failed to act

A family filed a lawsuit claiming a child was sexually abused in 2022 by Warren Perry at the Pawleys Island Community Church-affiliated school. The lawsuit alleges that church and school leaders failed to act despite the abuse. Perry and three former leaders appeared publicly the same day as the lawsuit.
