Mexican high schoolers win 5 medals at the prestigious International Mathematical Olympiad in China

Mexican high school students won five bronze medals at the 2026 International Mathematical Olympiad in China, securing third place in Ibero-America. Andrea Sarahi Cascante Duarte received the Maryam Mirzakhani Award for the highest overall score among female participants from the Americas.
