DTW just spent $25M to make parking easier. Here’s how it works
The Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) invested $25 million in a new parking guidance system using color-coded lights to indicate parking availability. The system, installed at McNamara and Warren Cleage Evans terminals, includes green for open spaces, red for occupied spots, and blue for handicapped parking. A Park Assist app will also provide live updates, with the project set to expand to the Big Blue Deck by 2026.
