Wreckage of Pan Am plane found 74 years after it crashed off Puerto Rico

The wreckage of Pan Am's Clipper Endeavor, which crashed off Puerto Rico in 1952 killing 52 people, was discovered 74 years later by the Air/Sea Heritage Foundation and Discovery Channel's Expedition Unknown using sonar and an autonomous drone. The crash led to aviation safety reforms including preflight briefings, and the site is now being protected with plans for a memorial.
