Big Bear bald eagle Jackie rescued by Los Angeles wildlife officials after fight with rival eagles

A bald eagle named Jackie from Big Bear was rescued by Los Angeles wildlife officials after a ground altercation with two subadult eagles. The injured eagle was taken to a rehabilitation facility in Ojai, where it is receiving specialized care. Friends of Big Bear Valley confirmed the rescued eagle is likely Jackie, the matriarch of the local bald eagle family, based on photos and videos.
