US Marine Corps turns to AI-powered Bullfrog as drone threats expand

The US Marine Corps has selected the AI-powered Bullfrog autonomous weapon system to enhance its airborne defenses against drone threats. The system, developed by Allen Control Systems, will integrate into the Light Marine Air Defense Integrated System (L-MADIS) and is designed to detect, track, and automatically aim at aerial threats. The decision reflects the Pentagon's focus on cost-effective counter-drone solutions amid rising drone usage in conflicts like Ukraine and the Middle East.
