UK military ‘eyes innovative electric flying taxi’ as 2029 launch planned

The UK government has shown interest in a military version of Vertical Aerospace's electric flying taxi and provided an additional £10m grant, bringing total funding to £48m. The company aims for a 2029 launch after gaining passenger flight approval.
